Queen of the Pride

It's not often that I play Gacha machines...

I prefer to buy from resellers. I play a gacha machine once in a blue moon and if I do it's because I know I would be happy to win any of the items in the machine.

Last week I was looking through Alchemy's gacha machines, one caught my eye. It was called The Shaman.

Looking through the winnable items I thought they all seemed pretty cool so I tried on the demo. I fell in love with the outfit so decided to hit the marketplace to see if I could find the outfit for a bargain. The machine would cost $100L to play and the marketplace wasn't coming up with deals I wanted to grab. Eyeing off the lions and knowing I'd be happy with any of the items I decided to give the machine a go. I thought a lion would be the ultimate prize but since it's a rare I knew it would be pretty unlikely, that was okay though because I liked everything else.

I right clicked and hit pay and to my amazement out came a lion! I gasped in amazement! I was so excited. First try and I got a rare. Lucky me!

My New Flame Outfit

Back before mesh avatars, I created an outfit, I scrapped it however thinking no one wanted texture applier clothing anymore.. I realised recently that there is a place for texture appliers since sometimes when piecing together an outfit you have clothes glitching through other clothes! So I've brought back my flame outfit, I edited it to improve the texture and created it in multiple colours. The inspiration to pull it out from the back of my hard drive also came from my purchases from Sole, they had a sale so I splurged to get their SciFi items; arm tech, greaves, wrap belt, backpack, mask and sword. As I was readying my outfit to piece with it, Azoury also had their Robotic head on sale at an event which was awesome timing for me.  You can grab my flame outfit from my store, Rariti on the marketplace. This is one of the bonus colours available for the Fatpack . Wearing in Top SciFi Pic   Head : ┍  Azoury  ┙ Nicodeme Robotic Head Body: ...

Piggy Back Time!

My partner piggy backs me in real life and he gave me a bunch of couple poses so when I discovered this piggy back pose I just had to create a pic of him piggy backing me in Second Life! You may have seen in my last post that I made over my partner, Raiden in Second Life. Recently I logged in on him and took him over to the store Gabriel and found their $1L section, I demoed them on Raiden and found I could make quite a few items work on the NX Nardcodix David body that he is using. In the pic he's wearing a military jacket and shirt that came from the dollarbie section. I recommend heading over and taking a look for the guys. You can also join their group for free and grab some gifts, for both the ladies and gents. Raiden's Makeover

My partner introduced me to Second Life at the beginning of 2012 and as I began my way into SL, he was on his way out, into other things instead. He still logs in every now and again when he wants to be creative and script something or to say hi to old friends. His poor avatar was stuck back in 2010ish SL fashion and was in much need of a makeover! When Akeruka said they were bringing out a men's head gift for their anniversary I jumped on the opportunity to make Raiden over. Raiden before, still feeling pretty proud of his clothes that apparently were the in thing back in the day and cost plenty of linden for their quality back then. I managed to peel those decade old clothes off and bring him forward to now! Here's Raiden now. The whole Makeover cost just over $2,800L. I don't usually put prices in my blog posts because prices can change but I want to show what Raiden is wearing and list the prices so you can see how he was made over for $2,811L and how you...
