Raiden's Makeover

My partner introduced me to Second Life at the beginning of 2012 and as I began my way into SL, he was on his way out, into other things instead. He still logs in every now and again when he wants to be creative and script something or to say hi to old friends. His poor avatar was stuck back in 2010ish SL fashion and was in much need of a makeover! When Akeruka said they were bringing out a men's head gift for their anniversary I jumped on the opportunity to make Raiden over.

Raiden before, still feeling pretty proud of his clothes that apparently were the in thing back in the day and cost plenty of linden for their quality back then.



I managed to peel those decade old clothes off and bring him forward to now! Here's Raiden now.



The whole Makeover cost just over $2,800L. I don't usually put prices in my blog posts because prices can change but I want to show what Raiden is wearing and list the prices so you can see how he was made over for $2,811L and how you can do it too.

That's everything I bought for Raiden for his makeover, the necklace and arm bracers were past freebies I'd found for Raiden a while back. I also made his shape which you can find in my store.

It's Christmas Time!

I am so excited that it's Christmas time! It's a time of love, joy and appreciation plus all the nostalgia of childhood Christmas'! My family and I's Christmas is a celebration of nature so in our house we have 4 Christmas trees, one for each season. It's fun to decorate accordingly as well as to appreciate nature! Christmas is also fun in Second Life with all the amazing things being made and the many gifts stores are giving out in their advent calendars! I enjoy digging through my inventory finding my Christmas stuff and this year I have created my own Christmas item! It started as a simple glowing red nose to go along with my deer body, turning me into Rudolph. My partner helped me to add a re-size script and an option to turn the glow on and off. Later he showed me that he could make it flash, give different colour options and make it flash rainbow colours! I have popped it up on my marketplace store .
