Merry Christmas! I hope everyone's Christmas season is going well so far. I'd previously had just my glowing and flashing nose in my store and always wanted an outfit to go with it and now I do! I found this dress, collar and plush reindeer antlers with full permissions on the market place and was able to make a cute reindeer Christmas outfit for the holidays! I had fun in Second Life this week creating scales and making my avatar Filipino like me :). I was looking for a new skin but I love my skin, I managed to find a mono lid appler from Izzie's as well as changed my shape to make a more Filipino look. My partner piggy backs me in real life and he gave me a bunch of couple poses so when I discovered this piggy back pose I just had to create a pic of him piggy backing me in Second Life! You may have seen in my last post that I made over my partner, Raiden in Second Life. Recently I logged in on him and took him over to the store Gabriel and found their $1L section, I demoed them on Raiden and found I could make quite a few items work on the NX Nardcodix David body that he is using. In the pic he's wearing a military jacket and shirt that came from the dollarbie section. I recommend heading over and taking a look for the guys. My partner introduced me to Second Life at the beginning of 2012 and as I began my way into SL, he was on his way out, into other things instead. He still logs in every now and again when he wants to be creative and script something or to say hi to old friends. His poor avatar was stuck back in 2010ish SL fashion and was in much need of a makeover! When Akeruka said they were bringing out a men's head gift for their anniversary I jumped on the opportunity to make Raiden over. Raiden before, still feeling pretty proud of his clothes that apparently were the in thing back in the day and cost plenty of linden for their quality back then. Today has been stressful for me as I've been trying to get photos and my new shape ready for the Akeruka group gift I grabbed the other day. I wanted to get this blog post and my photos out ASAP as the deal ends 20th June! I hoped to get my photos up in time in case other people see them, like the head and want to snatch up the deal. Akeruka are giving their members a bento head for $1L! The join fee for their group is $150L so that's a bento head which is usually $4999 for only $151. I was already a group member from last year so I now have 2 bento heads from them, both were group gifts for $1 each once I was a member. Akeruka also do men's heads and they will have a men's head as a group gift very soon as well! This week I had fun creating my new halter tops and tattoos! I had some hiccups as I hadn't textured creases for a while but once I got the hang of it again I was happy with the results. You can pick them up in my marketplace as packs of 4 colours with 3 sternum tattoos. A demo is available for you to try on one colour top from each available pack as well as all 3 sternum tattoos which come with all packs. You can also purchase the fatpack of all 16 colours of the halter wrap top for less than you would pay buying all packs separately. I also had fun doing my Second Life game photography. I was looking through all the amazing Second Life photography on Flickr and came across these pawpadsies by Altair, they're so adorable! I just had to have them and of course had to take a photo with them. I always love playing around with the look of my avatar in Second Life so in a sense, my avatar is like my doll. I like the idea of sometimes making my avatar a doll but I found that some of the options available limited my clothing options since they were mesh doll bodies like the one I posted about here . So I decided to create my own ball-jointed doll body applier to go onto the tattoo layer of my Maitreya body, this way I get to be a doll without changing my shape or skin! I can dress my doll in anything I like from my inventory! I had fun making it and had fun dressing my doll to create my latest photo! Back before mesh avatars, I created an outfit, I scrapped it however thinking no one wanted texture applier clothing anymore.. I realised recently that there is a place for texture appliers since sometimes when piecing together an outfit you have clothes glitching through other clothes! So I've brought back my flame outfit, I edited it to improve the texture and created it in multiple colours. The inspiration to pull it out from the back of my hard drive also came from my purchases from Sole, they had a sale so I splurged to get their SciFi items; arm tech, greaves, wrap belt, backpack, mask and sword. As I was readying my outfit to piece with it, Azoury also had their Robotic head on sale at an event which was awesome timing for me.  You can grab my flame outfit from my store, Rariti on the marketplace.
