I am so excited that it's Christmas time! It's a time of love, joy and appreciation plus all the nostalgia of childhood Christmas'! My family and I's Christmas is a celebration of nature so in our house we have 4 Christmas trees, one for each season. It's fun to decorate accordingly as well as to appreciate nature! Christmas is also fun in Second Life with all the amazing things being made and the many gifts stores are giving out in their advent calendars! I enjoy digging through my inventory finding my Christmas stuff and this year I have created my own Christmas item! It started as a simple glowing red nose to go along with my deer body, turning me into Rudolph. My partner helped me to add a re-size script and an option to turn the glow on and off. Later he showed me that he could make it flash, give different colour options and make it flash rainbow colours! I have popped it up on my marketplace store . I've just opened up a Market Place store, called Rariti . So far I have my ripped stockings which I created and I am looking into full perm mesh apparel to start creating. I love creating textures and being artistic so I'm excited to get into it! I was inspired by mermaids, unicorns and holographic prints when making my logo and I had a lot of fun with it! These ripped stockings I created because I wanted some grunge stockings to go with my outfit for this photo. They are appliers which I like since they disappear with alpha layers and don't glitch through shoes or clothing. I finally got a Catwa head and I love it! See on Flickr   Here's my tip to choose a head!  I have been wanting a Catwa head on and off for months but didn't buy one because I already had a head. In my shopping adventures I'd noticed that many head appliers are made for Catwa, especially gacha's which I love buying because I can pick up some really nice stuff for super cheap. So I made the decision to buy a Catwa head but that was only the beginning because then I had to choose one, there are 20! I spent days demoing different Catwa heads, some I didn't like personally but a few I did and I didn't know how to figure out which one I liked best because by the time I'd tried on a few I couldn't remember the first! *Giggles* So I tried taking screenshots then comparing but that didn't really help as a screen shot just isn't the same as in world. I shared my frustration with my partner, he was amused... but then he helped me out. He said

One thing I love about Second Life is that it's open for complete creativity. You can be, do or have whatever you like and people's imaginations come alive! Recently in my exploration I found a fun kawaii type store with sales on! It's called *Epic* and I got these cute skates which include a skating animation as well as heart trail particles. I also got these ice cream wings which can be worn with or without falling heart particles and come with a re-size script. Please note: I stumbled across *Epic*'s sale in world and I don't know when it's ending, I also found that things were on sale in world but on the marketplace were their normal price. I also came across a cute store on the Marketplace called Ninet

Today I discovered a store on the Second Life Marketplace called Casadel... They sell original women's apparel, their designs include buckles, straps and chains, I really like this style and everything is available in many different colours. I liked that they're average price was about $150L. Their items also come with HUDs to change the colour of the metal. You can try before you buy with demo's available from their MP store . I fell in love with the "Abigail" shorts and bought them in turquoise with mixed flowers and then mixed and matched them with items from my inventory to create this look. I'd love to know of more high quality, affordable stores like these with original designs, please leave a comment and share your favourites! Introducing Lilli... I came across this cute listing for Bath Time Baby Girl by Black Bantam. I had a look in their store and they have some cute pets and babies. This one was a gacha resale and I got it for only $29L. I named her Lilli. She is non-animated but comes with a text animation HUD so the nearby chat will say things like, " Lilli wants Bella Parx to rock her to sleep. " You can interact with her from a HUD as well. Isn't she adorable!? Recently I've been looking for a ball-jointed doll body... Well since I saw the Clockwork Doll rare doll body skin (or body?) from Sweet Thing, I wanted to get my hands on it but being a rare it's pretty expensive on the MP. I had a look around and I found Tentacio's Galatea doll gacha machines and while it wasn't too expensive to get a doll body from the marketplace I was a little worried it would be hard to get hold of the clothing for it, I couldn't find any body suits on the MP and the dress was a rare. Yesterday I did a little googling and to my delight I came across Coco Doll's doll bodies, heads and clothing. She has an outlet in-world , which I found through a blog, selling everything for $99L. I picked up the doll body and a dress for $99L each and also picked up a bunch of freebies including 9 free doll heads and doll legs with red ballet shoes. It's not often that I play Gacha machines... I prefer to buy from resellers. I play a gacha machine once in a blue moon and if I do it's because I know I would be happy to win any of the items in the machine. Last week I was looking through Alchemy's gacha machines, one caught my eye. It was called The Shaman. Looking through the winnable items I thought they all seemed pretty cool so I tried on the demo. I fell in love with the outfit so decided to hit the marketplace to see if I could find the outfit for a bargain. The machine would cost $100L to play and the marketplace wasn't coming up with deals I wanted to grab. Eyeing off the lions and knowing I'd be happy with any of the items I decided to give the machine a go. I thought a lion would be the ultimate prize but since it's a rare I knew it would be pretty unlikely, that was okay though because I liked everything else. I right clicked and hit pay and to my amazement out came a lion! I gasped in

Today I am out with a tribal look inspired by the Curemore Voodoo Tribe Gacha. The messy red hair and red tribal body tattoo are both from the Curemore Voodoo Tribe Gacha which is currently at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival . I stopped playing the Gacha machine when I got the same hair 3 times. Ugh!
