I finally got a Catwa head and I love it!
So I made the decision to buy a Catwa head but that was only the beginning because then I had to choose one, there are 20! I spent days demoing different Catwa heads, some I didn't like personally but a few I did and I didn't know how to figure out which one I liked best because by the time I'd tried on a few I couldn't remember the first! *Giggles* So I tried taking screenshots then comparing but that didn't really help as a screen shot just isn't the same as in world.
I shared my frustration with my partner, he was amused... but then he helped me out. He said, you need to try one on then a second and ask yourself which you like best, choose your best then compare that one with the next one and keep choosing. I realised I couldn't take them off then put one on and choose that way because I don't have a photographic memory so I brought in the help of my split personality... erm.. alt character.
I stood my alt next to my avi and I tried on two different heads, side by side I could choose which one I liked best, then I would keep that one on and try the next one on and again side by side decide which one was best. This advice was priceless! I chose a head in under an hour, it was so easy!
If you're in the market for a mesh head and not just Catwa then you'll have even more to choose from so I hope this little tip helps! Also if you're someone who wants to switch to mesh but you feel like your system head is just so you and you want to keep your look, you could log in an alt and stand them next to your main avi to find the mesh head that is closest to your look.
For me it was just a matter of finding the head that I loved and made my heart sing and that was Koura. I love it so much I haven't even changed the shape yet!

Here's my tip to choose a head!
